Flight 3407 Memorial Fundraiser

On February 12, 2009 Flight 3407 of Colgan Air crashed in Clarence Center, NY.  All 50 people on the plane and one on the ground died as a result of this tragedy.  In memory of these victims and everyone affected by this tragedy, The Flight 3407 Memorial 5K Race was founded by The Flight 3407 Fundraiser Committee.

This year, the third annual Flight 3407 Memorial 5K Race will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011.  The event will take place at the Town Place Park, 1 Town Place, Clarence, NY, 14031.  The sanctioned 5K will start at 9:30am and the 1/2 mile Fun Run will start at 10am.  Immediately following the races, post race activities will be held in the park. Proceeds will benefit Remember Flight 3407, Inc. and will go towards the construction and maintenance of a Flight 3407 memorial site.

This race will give many the opportunity to meet with friends, families and people throughout Western New York that do not want to forget what happened in Clarence Center, NY on the night of February 12, 2009.  It will allow all who attend to honor those who were lost from this tragedy and continue the healing process on a personal level.
